Principle vs. Practice

I decided about a year ago that, if I was ever called by a pollster, I was going to lie -- to try to reduce the effect polling has on election outcomes.

Well, I was called this morning and asked who I was going to vote for in the primary for U.S. senator -- and I told the truth, not wanting to deprive Obama of any momentum going into the election.

I'm wondering if I should have said the candidate with the least chance (I believe that's Pappas) ... or maybe not have answered ...
