The Vote is Cast
Just back from my local precinct to cast my vote in the Illinois primary. I felt like a true Chicagoan when I got to the corner before the polling place and a guy with a heavy Irish accent handed me a slip of paper listing all the democratic candidates I should vote for.
And, when I got to the poll, the judge accidentally gave me two ballots -- so I guess I could have made up for Kanako's lack of civic duty earlier in the month. But like a good citizen, and unlike a true Chicagoan, I only cast my one vote for Kucinich.
