Thiol vs peroxide, part 2

Apparently, that's the compound that makes the skunk smell. But anyway, the peroxide/detergent/baking soda seemed to work a bit, Nellie took it like a trouper ( albeit a really depressed, miserable one ) but I was not able to get her snout, which is now the most skunk-like part of her right now so we dabbed a little Nature's Miracle-De-Skunker on it.

At least she's able to come inside, the smell is really about 95% gone. Thank goodness! What an experience!

You know, she's not that hairy, but while I was rinsing her, a dead bug came out, as well as an earring ( not mine, though ).
