Everything old is new again
I ran across this thread on a Chicago skyscraper discussion board (I quote it here, because it's remarkably similar to multiple conversations I've had over the years):
Whatever happens, that space needs to be filled in, just as long as they don't drop another "55 West Wacker" in there. What a waste that building is.

55 west wacker is across the street from leo burnett, but it is not a "brown pile of junk", it is a brutalist masterpiece and one of the best buildings on wacker. we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one.
