Morgan Update

On Saturday, I took Morgan to the Hamlin dog park to meet up with her former caretakers. Above is a picture after we left the dog park and were on the way to the car.

Morgan's still a little timid. At first, she didn't do a lot of running around at the dog park, mainly just sniffing. But after a while she did begin to try to get some of the dogs to play with her.

I heard the story of how Morgan got to Chicago from North Carolina -- it was like the underground railroad, but only for dogs. One of the CCRF people saw Morgan on Petfinder.com, and arranged for a series of dog people spread out from NC to Chicago to drive her and her sister as far as possible, and then pass them on to the next person.
