Maputo Dispatch: No-Hopers
I get the feeling that the Agencia de Informacao de Mocambique supports the ruling party in the recent election:
The leader of Mozambique's main opposition party, the former rebel movement Renamo, Afonso Dhlakama, told reporters in Maputo on Tuesday that he will continue to reject "peacefully" the results from Mozambique's general elections of 1-2 December, won overwhelming by the ruling Frelimo Party and its presidential candidate, Armando Guebuza.
The minor parties and candidates who ran in the elections ... were utterly humiliated at the polls.
It is hard to see what Dhlakama can possibly gain from associating with a group of eccentrics and no-hopers.
