Braque du Bourbonnais
Not only did I meet with consultants in Virginia, I met a consultant's dog, which was a French pointer, specifically a Braque du Bourbonnais.
I was struck how much the dog looked like Morgan -- smaller than a German Pointer, but still the same body type (and shy disposition). Morgan's main difference is that she has black spots, rather than liver or roan.
Usually, when people ask me what kind of dog Morgan is, I say a pointer mix. Maybe now I should say a Braque du Bourbonnais mix. Although, I wouldn't want people thinking she's a John-Kerry-voting-freedom hater.
