Just to Prove I'm Not a Partisan Hack
I completely disagree with the Democratic Senator who wants to limit the extension of Daylight Savings Time because it would force farmers to get up before the sun rises.
I've never claimed to be a farmer (even though I did spend one very long day of my life baling hay), but I believe they wake up when the animals do -- and I'm pretty sure that cows don't reset their clocks come Halloween.
And what a wonderful boon it would be to humanity for it not to get dark at 4:30 p.m. in November!
