Rainier Cherry Update

Probably after reading my blog, the price-setters at Dominicks (aka Safeway) have put Rainier cherries on sale for $2.99 a pound. But you need your stupid Fresh Values card to get that price, so I haven't been able to buy any yet. I did spend five or ten reflective minutes this afternoon standing behind a group of three ladies who had two bags of cherries each to pay for. And, yes, each bag was rung up separately and paid for with a different combination of credit card, ATM card or cash.
