A Tour Of St. Petersburg
I came across this site, called Wandering Camera, because I had seen an article in Pravda, about Putin celebrating his birthday at the Konstantinovsky Palace, in St. Petersburg. So, naturally, I googled the palace.
I recommend checking out the whole site at the link above, but if you want to go straight to the pictures of Konstantinovsky Palace, click here. The text is in Russian, but you can click on the arrows at the bottom to go through the album. The palace had apparently been allowed to dilapidate, but was revamped for the EU-Russia summit in May of 2003. So, in the photo album, there are some before and after pictures. Very cool stuff.
Two things occur to me:
1. I want to go to St. Petersburg.
2. Pete needs a digital camera.
