A Free Tip for Subway Restaurants

Today, I went to Subway for lunch, and like I usually do, I ordered a six-inch tuna sandwich on wheat. Several years ago, Subway added quick-roasting ovens to their stores, which was to compete with Quiznos, I assume. I like my subs roasted, so today, again as usual, I asked the Subway employee to pop it in the oven.

What I've come to notice, however, is that the paper that Subway wraps their sandwiches in, when roasted, smells like the dirty ashes of a burned-out fire. It's not the most appetizing smell to encounter when unwrapping a sub.

So my free tip of the day to Subway Restaurants: don't roast your subs on the wrapping paper.
