Woody Plants: Rosa sericea pteracantha
According to Alice M. Coats, E.A. Bowles said the thorns of this rose "glow out when lit by the setting sun like stained glass in old windows." This picture shows the effect of the rising sun glowing through the thorns on an April morning.
