I had a package waiting on my porch when I arrived home this evening. It contained a new lens for my camera, the
SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.7 Lens, last produced in 1984:
In addition to manual focus, it has a manual aperture, so I had to fiddle with the camera settings for a while to make the screen stop flashing "F--" before it allowed me to take pictures.
Here are the first pictures with the new lens, taken in low light as the sun was setting:
